Co-Living is essentially shared housing a.k.a. Room and Board. It affords people on a limited/fixed income such as social security disability to live and enjoy access to all the amenities of middle class home.  Residents are paying a flat rate for private or semi-private rooms that includes nutritious meals, internet, etc.

For a lot of people living on their own is too expensive especially when you consider the cost of utilities, food, and the other amenities that make for a comfortable home. 

There are also independent  and semi-independent Seniors and Disabled individuals in our community whose income is not an issue, but living alone is.  Living in a co-living environment feels like a safer option and definitely more affordable than living in an assisted living home.  These homes also help to keep them socially engaged.
